As a Welder, you’ll work on technical structures and create strong, neat welded joints in accordance with the applicable requirements. You’ll work with modern equipment and carefully check the quality of your own work. In this way, you’ll make a significant contribution to a reliable end product. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills further through training courses and welding certifications.
What are you going to do?
As a Welder, you are responsible for creating strong and precise welded joints on engineering structures. You work to technical drawings, check the quality of your work and make adjustments where necessary.
- You assemble structural components based on technical drawings;
- You carry out MIG/MAG and TIG welding on various metal components;
- You check dimensions, fit and finish;
- You inspect welded joints in accordance with the applicable quality requirements;
- You identify deviations and correct them during the production process;
- You actively contribute ideas on how to improve working methods and production processes.
Who are you?
As a Welder, you combine technical insight with a meticulous and responsible approach to your work. You are able to apply technical information effectively in practice and ensure a robust, high-quality end result.
- You have completed a Level 3 MBO qualification in metalworking or a comparable technical discipline;
- You have experience in assembling and welding metal structures;
- You hold valid MIG/MAG and/or TIG welding certificates, or are willing to obtain and keep them up to date;
- You are able to read and apply technical drawings effectively;
- You work independently and accurately, and carefully check the quality of your own work.
