What are you going to do?
As Production Manager at Dumaco Varsseveld, you will be the contact person for the production department and a key member of the management team (MT), leading a versatile team in a high-tech production environment on a daily basis. This challenging role offers plenty of scope for initiative, personal growth and real influence on the company's direction. You will have the opportunity to make your mark on the production process and on the future of a growing company.
Your tasks ;
- Daily management of 3 team leaders and the technical staff (8 FTE), indirectly you are responsible for some 80 colleagues;
- Coaching, inspiring and developing the team, with a focus on cooperation and results;
- Optimising production processes in terms of quality, efficiency and delivery time;
- Implementing modern production concepts and strengthening the lean culture
- Actively contribute to strategic choices within the MT;
- Planning and improving staffing in cooperation with HR;
- Monitoring compliance with procedures, working regulations and quality standards;
- Initiating and supervising investment projects, including the implementation of a clean room;
Who are you?
- You have hbo working and thinking level and at least 5 years' experience as a manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal;
- You are a natural leader with a coaching style and strong communication skills;
- You have experience with lean, QRM and quality management systems;
- You know how to motivate teams, streamline processes and achieve results;
- You work in a structured way, keep an overview and know how to set priorities;
- You have knowledge of ERP systems, Excel and other digital tools;
- You are solution-oriented, have a positive attitude and perseverance.
