What are you going to do?
As a Maintenance Mechanic, together with a skilled colleague you will be responsible for the (preventive) maintenance, repair and restoration of (use) damage to various vehicles and machines. These include:
- Trucks, box trucks and forklifts - you will ensure that the fleet remains in top condition;
- Press containers and production machines - you perform maintenance and repairs to ensure everything keeps running;
- Installations at customer sites - sometimes you work on site at customers' premises to fix breakdowns;
- Equipment status management - you keep a close eye on the condition of machines and vehicles;
- Inspections - you are responsible for recording and securing annual inspections.
In short, a varied and challenging job in which no two days are the same!
Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic mechanic who enjoys working with technology and never shies away from a challenge. You enjoy solving problems and have an eye for detail. In addition, you bring the following:
- A technical background, e.g. basic mechanical engineering training;
- Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance (basic level);
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical engineering and welding technology at MBO level (3/4);
- You have a good command of the Dutch language (due to customer contact);
- You have a proactive and accurate working attitude;
- Driving licence B (C is an advantage);
- Willingness to work flexible hours;
- You are result-oriented and quality-conscious;
- Physically able to perform heavier work at times.
