What are you going to do?
In this versatile procurement role, you will be responsible - together with an experienced colleague - for achieving the organisation's procurement objectives. You will ensure that costs, quality and delivery times remain in perfect balance and that the company benefits maximally from strong and sustainable supplier relationships.
Your responsibilities include:
- Setting up and maintaining partnerships with suppliers, establishing competitive purchasing conditions (prices, delivery times, minimum purchases and more);
- The structured recording of all agreements made;
- Relationship management: you are the first point of contact for suppliers;
- Evaluating suppliers on delivery reliability, quality, communication, innovation and performance;
- Monitoring market developments and anticipating changes in quality, quantity, delivery times and prices;
- Monitoring target prices within projects for new products;
- Achieving cost reductions on existing products and advising on more complex purchasing issues;
- An active role in project groups with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Assembly, Planning & Logistics and Finance;

Who are you?
You feel at home in a technical environment, can switch easily and love making smart choices. In addition, you have:
- HBO working and thinking level
- Several years of experience in a commercial or technical working environment, preferably in the technical manufacturing industry
- A good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Willingness to travel briefly from time to time
- A result-oriented and accurate working attitude
- Commercial insight and the ability to make decisions
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
