What are you going to do?

As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, assembling and testing machines and installations. Your duties include:

  • Assembling machines and modules according to technical drawings and diagrams;
  • Assembling mechanical (and partly electrical or pneumatic) parts;
  • Adjusting, testing and checking machines for quality and operation;
  • Signalling and solving technical deviations or points of improvement;
  • Collaborating with fellow mechanics, engineers and work preparation;
  • Ensuring a neat, safe and organised workplace;
  • No two days are the same: sometimes you build a complete machine, sometimes you work on customised solutions for specific customers.

Who are you?

You are a techie at heart and get satisfaction from building something beautiful. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have an MBO education in mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar;
  • You have experience as an assembly mechanic, machine builder or assembly engineer;
  • You can read and understand technical drawings;
  • You work accurately, independently and are a real team player;
  • You think in solutions and like to take responsibility;
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or electrical engineering is an advantage.
