Based out of BRU, this new base will operate an initial fleet of 4 Aircraft in 2026 with strong growth trajectory to increase that fleet over the next 5 years as well as converting to the A320 by 2031.

What are you going to do?

As a Captain at Transavia, you'll work on a range of exciting and dynamic routes across Europe, with destinations including Greek islands, city breaks, and snowy airports in the far north. You'll be part of a highly professional team, where your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and efficiency of flight operations, delivering exceptional passenger service, and cooperating closely with the entire crew.

Who are you?

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Valid EASA ATPL
  • Valid ME/IR (A) PBN
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Min ICAO ELP 5 to apply. Please note, you must have ELP 6 before starting employment with Transavia
  • MCC certificate
  • Advanced UPRT Certificate (if licence is issued after 20-12-2021)
  • You have a valid type rating Boeing 737NG with a minimum of 1000 (actual) hours as Captain on type (of which 50 hours are flown in the last 6 months)
  • You have a minimum total of 3500 hours on multi-engine aircraft
  • Valid EU passport

What do we offer?

Key Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salary: €11,000 gross per month. Annually the salary increases (on average €300 gross per month) excluding compensation for inflation
  • A permanent contract - taxes paid in The Netherlands, social security paid in Belgium
  • Additional pay per block hour (39 euro gross)
  • End of year allowance of 8% of base gross salary

  • Roster pattern - average is 4 days on/3 days off (no planned layovers)
  • You have your scheduled roster at least 4 weeks ahead

Please note: there is no commuting roster available and we recommend you live close or willing to relocate to BRU in order to consider this fantastic opportunity.

Transavia is a Dutch airline, founded in 1965 and part of the Air France-KLM Group. It primarily focuses on flights to popular holiday destinations within Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. They have been flying from their Schiphol hub and the regional bases in Rotterdam and Eindhoven for years.
With the new base in Brussels, they are taking an even stronger position in the European market.
