Do you enjoy working on technical systems where precision really matters? As a Compressor Technician, you’ll be working on blowers and compressors used on bulk transport lorries. You’ll assemble, overhaul, repair and connect systems. In doing so, you’ll combine mechanical engineering with electrical engineering, hydraulics and welding.
What are you going to do?
As a Compressor Fitter, you will work on the installation, maintenance and overhaul of blowers and compressors.
- You will fit blowers and compressors to lorries;
- You will connect electrical and hydraulic components;
- You will carry out maintenance, repairs and overhauls;
- You carry out MIG/MAG welding;
- You will assist, where necessary, with the construction of bulk lorries.
Who are you?
As a Compressor Technician, you work with precision and have a broad range of technical knowledge.
- You have completed a technical MBO qualification, for example in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automotive Engineering;
- You have a good command of the Dutch language;
- You have experience with MIG/MAG welding;
- You are able to work with great precision during assembly and overhaul;
- Experience in overhauling engines is desirable.
