What are you going to do?
As Working Foreman, you will have a responsible and versatile role. You manage a team of production workers and ensure that daily tasks are carried out efficiently and on schedule. You will also keep a close eye on quality and contribute to a safe working environment.
Your main tasks:
- Managing & motivating - You supervise and coordinate a team and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere;
- Work distribution & planning - You ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done and that production runs smoothly;
- Quality checks - You check products and materials and intervene in case of deviations;
- Cooperating in production - Besides coordinating, you actively work on the floor;
- Ensuring safety - You ensure that safety regulations are observed;
- Troubleshooting - In case of technical malfunctions or other bottlenecks, you will help think of solutions;
- Administration & reporting - You keep records and coordinate matters with management.
Who are you?
You are a hands-on leader who knows how to motivate a team and keep a production process running smoothly. With your technical knowledge and structured approach, you keep everything under control.
- MBO 3/4 working and thinking level, preferably in a technical or production-oriented direction;
- At least 3 years' experience in a production environment, preferably with managerial tasks;
- Strong communication skills and experience in managing a team;
- Technical understanding and familiar with production processes and machinery;
- Accurate & quality-conscious, with an eye for detail;
- Independent & proactive, you take initiative and shift gears quickly;
- Safety-conscious and familiar with guidelines within a production environment;
- Flexible and willing to work shifts or alternating hours (if necessary);
- In possession of a VOG or willing to apply for one.
