Are you skilled in financial administration and do you enjoy keeping track of things? As a Finance Assistant, you’ll take on a wide-ranging role that combines finance and HR. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and be given a great deal of responsibility. This is a role for someone who works meticulously and likes to keep things well organised.
What are you going to do?
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll ensure that the accounts are accurate and that tasks are carried out on time. Your duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices, bank statements and payments;
- Managing accounts receivable and monitoring outstanding items;
- Assisting with VAT returns and month-end closings;
- Preparing annual accounts for the accountant;
- Processing hours, leave, HR changes and staff files.
Who are you?
As a Finance Assistant, you will work accurately and independently. You will have:
- MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking;
- Experience in a broad range of financial administration tasks;
- Experience with Exact or the ability to learn it quickly;
- A structured approach to work and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
What do we offer?
As a Finance Assistant, you can expect:
- €3,400 to €4,300 gross per month based on a 40-hour week;
- A working week of 32 to 40 hours;
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent role;
- The option to work partly from home;
- A pension scheme and travel allowance;
- Terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the Metal & Technology collective agreement.
