Do you have technical insight and does working with modern welding robots sound like a challenge to you? As a Welding Robot Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring automated welding processes. You’ll ensure that production runs smoothly and carefully check that the welded joints meet the specified quality requirements. In doing so, you’ll identify any deviations and independently adjust the machine settings to achieve the best possible end result. You will work on a two-shift rota and will have plenty of opportunities to further develop your technical knowledge and skills.

What are you going to do?

As a Welding Robot Operator, you are responsible for ensuring that the automated welding process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will set up the welding robot independently, monitor production progress and ensure that every product meets the specified quality requirements. With your technical insight and eye for detail, you will identify deviations in good time and contribute to an accurate and reliable production process.

  • You will set up the welding robot independently and operate it for various welding operations;
  • You will position metal components precisely in the machine and remove the finished products once the process is complete;
  • You carry out quality checks and inspect the dimensions, welds and finish of the manufactured parts;
  • You carefully package the products and prepare them for the next stage in the production process;
  • You identify any deviations and take prompt action to ensure the quality and continuity of production;
  • You actively contribute ideas for improvements to the welding process, machine settings and working methods.

Who are you?

As a Welding Robot Operator, you’ll have technical insight, work with precision and be keen to develop new skills. Experience with a welding robot is not required, provided you have an interest in technology and are willing to learn the trade on the job. With your eagerness to learn, eye for detail and sense of responsibility, you will contribute to a high-quality production process.

  • You have technical understanding at VMBO level or a comparable level of working and thinking;
  • You work meticulously, have an eye for quality and independently check your own work;
  • You are a true team player and enjoy working with colleagues to achieve the best results;
  • You are proficient in Dutch and can communicate clearly on the shop floor;
  • You are keen to learn and motivated to master the practical aspects of setting up and operating a welding robot.
