Do you enjoy working with modern machinery and are you interested in engineering and metalworking? As a Welding Robot Operator, you’ll ensure that the automated welding process runs accurately and efficiently. You’ll set up the robot correctly, monitor quality and intervene when necessary. You’ll work a two-shift rota with the associated shift allowance and be given plenty of opportunity to further your skills and develop your technical expertise.
What are you going to do?
As a Welding Robot Operator, you will ensure that the production process runs efficiently and accurately. You will operate the welding robot, monitor quality and ensure that the products are processed and finished correctly.
Your duties will include:
- Setting up and operating the welding robot;
- Loading and unloading products;
- Checking dimensions, welded joints and product quality;
- Packaging and preparing finished products;
- Identifying deviations during the production process;
- Contributing ideas for improvements in terms of quality, efficiency and working methods.
Who are you?
As a Welding Robot Operator, you’ll have an interest in technology, work with precision and have an eye for quality. You don’t need to have any previous experience with a welding robot: with the right motivation, you’ll simply learn the trade on the job.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has technical understanding at VMBO level or equivalent;
- Works meticulously and values quality;
- Enjoys working with colleagues;
- Is proficient in Dutch;
- Is keen to learn how to operate a welding robot in a practical setting.
