Do you enjoy working with technology and are you interested in working with a welding robot? As a Welding Robot Operator, you’ll ensure that the automated welding process runs smoothly. You’ll set up the machine, monitor progress during production and inspect the welded joints. If you spot a deviation, you’ll adjust the settings and ensure production can continue. You’ll work a two-shift rota and have the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge.
What are you going to do?
As a Welding Robot Operator, you keep the automated welding process running smoothly. You ensure that the products are loaded correctly into the machine, check the welds and adjust the process if anything is not quite right.
- You set up the welding robot and operate it during production;
- You load parts into the machine and remove finished products;
- You check dimensions, weld seams and the final result;
- You pack products and prepare them for the next stage;
- You identify deviations and take immediate action when necessary;
- You contribute ideas for improvements to the welding process and working methods.
Who are you?
As a Welding Robot Operator, you do not need to have any prior experience with a welding robot. Technical understanding, attention to detail and the motivation to learn the trade on the job are more important.
- You have technical understanding at VMBO level or equivalent;
- You work accurately and check your own work;
- You work well with colleagues;
- You are proficient in Dutch;
- You are willing to learn how to operate a welding robot through hands-on experience.
What do we offer?
As a Welding Robot Operator, you’ll receive a good salary, a shift allowance and the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge.
- A gross monthly salary of €2,800 to €3,500, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- A 20 per cent shift allowance for working a two-shift rota;
- Opportunities to further develop your technical and specialist knowledge;
- Varied work involving different products and processes;
- The prospect of a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance.
