Lead on the shop floor with technical insight and a sense of responsibility
Are you a natural leader with technical insight and do you know how to motivate and manage a team? Then the position of foreman is tailor-made for you. As a foreman, you work daily to ensure that production, assembly or logistics processes run smoothly. You combine managing with working on the floor and you are the first point of contact for your team and the link to the team leader or production manager.
At Euro Planit, we continuously have vacancies for foremen in engineering, production and logistics. Whether you have experience as an assistant foreman, team leader or team coordinator, or whether you want to step up to a managerial role - we will help you find the right job with a reliable employer.

What does a foreman do?
A foreman manages a team on the shop floor on a daily basis. You ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done, monitor the planning and intervene when necessary. At the same time, you roll up your sleeves yourself, for example when solving technical problems or adjusting machines. You are a leader as well as a colleague.
Typical tasks of a foreman:
- Daily management of employees within a team
- Distributing work and monitoring progress
- Working on the floor in production, assembly or logistics
- Instructing, coaching and supervising employees
- Carrying out quality controls and supervising safety
- Coordinating with team leader, planner or production coordinator
- Reporting peculiarities, such as failures or deviations
- Identifying improvement opportunities in the process or cooperation
In some cases, you supervise one shift, in other cases you work in a shift structure. The exact content of your job depends on the sector and the type of company.
What sectors can you work in as a foreman?
The position of foreman occurs in all kinds of technical and industrial environments. Think of:
