What are you going to do?
For an internationally operating client in the Arnhem region, we are looking for a (Senior) Sourcing Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for the entire procurement process of both direct and indirect goods and services, including supplier selection, price negotiations, contract management and performance monitoring. You will work in a dynamic and multicultural team where flexibility and initiative are valued.
You will do this:
- Set up and implement procurement strategies (both direct and indirect)
- Select suppliers and negotiate prices and conditions
- Managing contracts and optimising supplier performance
- Identify market developments affecting availability and price
- Intensive collaboration with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs
- Managing projects and mentoring junior colleagues
Supporting automation and improvement projects
Who are you?
This is what we expect from you:
- At least 5 years' experience as a buyer, preferably in a technical or industrial environment
- Completed college or university education (or equivalent work experience)
- You are proactive, independent and not afraid to ask questions
- You can work well in a turbulent or changing organisation
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
- You feel at home in a multicultural setting
What do we offer?
This is what you will get from us:
- Salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience
- 10% bonus on achieving your targets
- A contract with our client for 7 or 12 months, with the prospect of permanent employment
- A minimum of 32 hours per week (negotiable)
