What are you going to do?
As a Calculator, you are involved from start to finish in the development of technical projects in the sales phase. You combine technical insight with commercial feeling and ensure that quotations are both strong and competitive.
Tasks;
- You analyse customers' needs and technical issues and translate them into smart, feasible solutions;
- You focus on correct and strategic pricing to arrive at a realistic estimate for the entire project;
- You use various calculation tools to generate the right input for a technically sound quotation;
- You support the sales team during prospecting and negotiations with your commercial-technical expertise;
- You assess technical drawings and specifications and translate them into clear calculations;
- You ensure that all technical details are correct before the proposal goes to the customer;
- In short: you ensure that sales can sell with confidence.
Who are you?
You are analytically sharp, communicatively strong and feel at home in a technical environment where quality is paramount.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or equivalent through experience;
- You already have some experience in calculation and quotation;
- You have excellent knowledge of Excel and get on well with MS Office;
- You can read and interpret technical drawings;
- You have strong analytical and decision-making skills;
- You are structured and have good organisational skills;
- You have a good command of Dutch and English;
