Do you enjoy working with wood and modern machinery, and do you like to see the immediate results of your work? As an (All-round) Machine Woodworker, you are a key link in the production process. You will precision-machine wooden components for items such as window frames and prefabricated walls, ensuring that everything meets the specified quality and dimensional requirements. Together with your colleagues, you will work daily on high-quality products and a wide range of projects.

What are you going to do?

As a Machine Woodworker, you will be responsible for the precise machining of wood and for ensuring that components are ready for the next stage in the production process. You will set up the machines correctly, work in accordance with technical instructions and constantly monitor quality.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing, setting up and checking woodworking machines;
  • Operating various machines and carrying out a range of woodworking tasks;
  • Cutting, planing and milling wooden components;
  • Reading and applying technical drawings and production instructions;
  • Checking dimensions, finish and quality;
  • Working in accordance with the applicable health and safety and quality regulations;
  • Coordinating work with colleagues and the team leader;
  • Identifying deviations and making adjustments to the production process where necessary.
  • You’ll be working in a dedicated team where collaboration and quality are paramount. If you have a question or run into any difficulties, you can always count on the help of a colleague or team leader.
