As a Junior Project Manager / Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing, supervising and managing the administrative aspects of these unique projects. What are you going to do?
As a Junior Project Manager / Estimator, you’ll be involved in the entire project lifecycle: from the initial enquiry right through to the post-completion review. You’ll ensure that everything is properly organised from a technical, financial and administrative perspective. Following an extensive induction period, you will start with smaller, short-term projects. This will give you the chance to learn the trade properly, whilst senior project managers can focus on the larger projects. As you progress in the role, there are excellent opportunities for further development, for example towards becoming a project manager.
- Preparing cost estimates, drawing up quotations and carrying out cost calculations;
- Consulting with colleagues in sales and engineering;
- Processing and managing quotation and project data in the ERP system (ISAH);
- Recording changes, agreements and project information;
- Monitoring the administrative progress of projects;
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of quality and processes;
- Evaluating projects upon completion and analysing results;
- In this role, you will act as a key link between engineering, sales and project delivery.

- MBO+ level of working and thinking;
- A technical background, for example in mechanical engineering or technical business administration;
- Experience in cost estimation and preparing quotations;
- An interest in cost estimation, engineering and high-quality projects;
- Proficient with systems such as ERP and Microsoft Office;
- Accurate, organised and analytically strong;
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude;
- Good command of Dutch and, preferably, also English and/or German
