What are you going to do?
As Junior Financial Controller, you will be part of the financial heart of the organisation. You will support the preparation of reliable reports and ensure that financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with colleagues within finance and other departments.
Your responsibilities:
- Drafting and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting;
- Preparing balance sheet specifications and journal entries;
- Identifying discrepancies and advising on improvements;
- Participating in year-end closing and external audits;
- Taking care of VAT returns and other fiscal obligations;
- Optimising and further professionalising financial processes;
- Supporting management reports;
- You are given room to take initiative.

Who are you?
You are analytically strong, work accurately and have a natural curiosity for numbers and processes.
- You have a completed HBO Bachelor's degree in Finance & Control, Business Economics or similar;
- You have 2 to 5 years of working experience within finance or accountancy (starters are welcome);
- You are numerically strong and have analytical insight;
- You have good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems;
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Proactive, eager to learn and with good communication skills
