In this role, you will literally be the start of the process and, together with a colleague, you will ensure that our steel products leave the factory neat, tidy and in the right colour. No conveyor belt work without thinking, but a responsible position where cooperation and overview are key.

What are you going to do?

As an employee in the blasting department, you are an important link together with an experienced colleague. You form an equal duo and ensure the smooth and error-free flow of products.

  • Hanging steel parts on hooks for the chain conveyor;
  • Checking the correct hanging sequence via a digital screen;
  • Checking the correct RAL colour per product;
  • Ensuring a neat, safe and efficient workplace;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and thinking along in solutions;
  • Helping out with other production-oriented tasks when necessary;
  • You work the day shift and have an active role in which you move around a lot and are physically active.

Who are you?

You are a reliable go-getter who enjoys working together and taking responsibility. In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

  • You are physically fit and enjoy active work;
  • You take initiative and think in terms of solutions;
  • You are sociable, amicable and enjoy working in a team;
  • You have perseverance and are not easily beaten down;
  • Experience in production or powder coating is a bonus, but not a must
    Motivation and commitment are more important than a perfect CV.

What do we offer?

  • A competitive salary of €2,600 - €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience;
  • Terms of employment in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal & Engineering Industry;
  • Full-time or part-time employment (32-40 hours);
  • Fixed working hours: Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 16.30;

About the client

Our client is known for quality, craftsmanship and a close-knit working atmosphere. Among other things, we produce cantilever racks, mezzanine floors, stairs, handrails and collision barriers for warehouses throughout the Netherlands.
