Do you enjoy hands-on work and would you like to combine logistics tasks with driving? As a Category C Driver / Logistics Assistant, you’ll ensure that goods and materials reach the right place on time. You’ll mainly work in the logistics department and assist where necessary with loading, unloading and moving goods. You’ll also drive a small van between different locations or departments. This gives you a varied role that combines logistics and transport.
What are you going to do?
As a Driver / Logistics Assistant, you’ll ensure that materials arrive at the right place on time. You’ll mainly work in the warehouse, combining logistics tasks with occasional transport between sites.
- You’ll transport materials using a small lorry or company van;
- You collect, check and prepare materials in accordance with work orders;
- You check incoming and outgoing goods;
- You carry out checks and inspections on vehicles;
- You process transport data and maintain the logistics records;
- You ensure a safe, tidy and well-organised workplace;
- You support colleagues and other logistics departments where necessary.
Who are you?
As a Driver / Logistics Assistant, you work meticulously, take on a variety of tasks with ease and contribute to a smoothly running logistics process.
- You hold a Category C driving licence and a valid Code 95 certificate;
- You have a good command of Dutch and/or English;
- You work accurately and maintain a clear overview of your tasks;
- You can work independently and follow work instructions correctly;
- You work well as part of a team and support colleagues where necessary;
- You are available to carry out various logistics tasks.
