Driver C / Logistics Assistant

 
As a Driver / Logistics Assistant, you will ensure that the internal logistics process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will mainly be based in the warehouse, where you will collect and check materials and ensure they are made available to the correct department on time. You will also occasionally transport goods using a small lorry or company van.

Your duties will include:

• Transporting materials using a small lorry or company car;
• Collecting, checking and preparing materials in accordance with work orders;
• Checking incoming and outgoing consignments;
• Carrying out checks and inspections on vehicles;
• Processing and maintaining transport and logistics records;
• Ensuring a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment;
• Supporting colleagues and other logistics departments where necessary.

For this role, we are looking for a practical and reliable colleague who works meticulously and enjoys being active. You feel at home in a logistics environment, switch easily between different tasks and help colleagues where necessary.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Category C driving licence and a valid Code 95;
• Has a good command of Dutch and/or English;
• Works accurately, in a structured manner and with care;
• Can work independently and follow work instructions correctly;
• Enjoys working as part of a team and supports colleagues when needed;
• Is flexible and enjoys taking on a variety of logistics tasks.
