What are you going to do?

In this varied role, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial acumen. No two days are the same – from client visits to trade shows, from quotations to after-sales service

  • You’ll advise national and international clients on high-quality technical solutions within the luxury yacht-building sector;
  • You will translate technical specifications into bespoke commercial proposals;
  • You will draw up quotations and oversee the process from enquiry to delivery;
  • You’ll attend leading (international) trade fairs, such as the Monaco Yacht Show;
  • You maintain long-term relationships with shipyards, suppliers and end customers;
  • You identify market developments and translate opportunities into concrete actions;
  • You liaise closely with engineering, project managers and production to ensure client requirements are met to the highest standard;
  • With your expertise and persuasiveness, you know exactly how to guide clients towards high-quality technical solutions;
  • You don’t sell a standard product – you sell an experience, quality and craftsmanship

Who are you?

  • You have experience in a technical-commercial role, preferably in the high-end manufacturing industry;
  • You are technically proficient, commercially astute and feel at home in an international environment where quality is paramount;
  • You have a technical higher vocational education (HBO) qualification (preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline);
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English (German or French would be an advantage);
  • You are willing to travel internationally, including to trade fairs;
  • You have an affinity for luxury, bespoke work and high-quality technology;
  • You have strong communication skills and find it easy to build lasting relationships;
  • You think in terms of solutions and opportunities, not limitations;
