Do you enjoy working with precision and are you interested in CNC machining? As a CNC Miller, you will manufacture aluminium components using modern milling machines and work from technical drawings. You will set up the machine correctly, check the dimensions and monitor quality throughout the entire process. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure a precise end product and contribute ideas for improvements to the working methods.
What are you going to do?
As a CNC Milling Operator, you’ll be producing precision aluminium components and monitoring quality and dimensions throughout the entire process. You’ll work independently with modern CNC milling machines and take action whenever you spot any deviations.
- You will set up, operate and monitor CNC milling machines independently;
- You carry out 3-axis and 5-axis milling operations;
- You will work from technical drawings and product specifications;
- You check dimensions, tolerances and product quality;
- You optimise tools, settings and machining processes;
- You identify and rectify deviations during production;
- You liaise with colleagues to monitor quality, scheduling and lead times.
Who are you?
As a CNC Miller, you work independently, with precision and an eye for the quality of every component. You are adept at interpreting technical drawings to determine the correct machining process and check your work carefully.
- You have experience as a CNC Miller;
- You can read technical drawings and work with various measuring tools;
- You are willing to work a two-shift rota;
- You work with precision and check the quality of your own work;
- Experience with Heidenhain controls is welcome.
