You’ll process incoming and outgoing goods, keep the warehouse organised, and ensure that orders are prepared correctly and on time for dispatch. Through your dedication and attention to detail, you’ll contribute to the efficient running of the warehouse every day.
What are you going to do?
As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll ensure that the warehouse remains tidy, well-organised and run efficiently. You’ll work with precision, keep a close eye on the flow of goods and ensure that materials and orders reach the right place on time.
Your duties will include:
- Checking, processing and recording incoming goods;
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch;
- Assisting customers with collecting and ordering products;
- Ensuring a tidy, safe and well-organised warehouse environment;
- Coordinating with colleagues regarding the availability and supply of materials;
- Identifying discrepancies in stock levels, deliveries or orders.
Who are you?
You are a meticulous and hands-on Warehouse Assistant who enjoys taking on responsibility and keeping track of things. You work in a structured way, aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, and feel at home in a logistics environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a vocational qualification (MBO) level of working and thinking;
- Has experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment;
- Is familiar with working in an ERP system;
- Holds a Category B driving licence;
- Holds a valid forklift certificate or is willing to obtain one.
