Imagine: every day you work on something tangible, something beautiful, something that makes a real difference. Today, we take a look at the work of a Fibo specialist at Wanders Chalet in Ulft. For more than 11 years, he has worked with passion on bathrooms and toilets, and in particular on one specific component: Fibo wall cladding.
What is Fibo?
Fibo is a smart and stylish solution for wall covering in wet rooms such as bathrooms and toilets. No tiles, but large, waterproof panels that can be installed quickly and neatly. Our specialist works on them every day: "I don't really do anything else. It's all about measuring, sawing and perfect assembly. It has to be watertight and neat, that's where I get my satisfaction."
No two days are the same
Although he has been working with the same product for years, no two jobs are identical. "Every bathroom is different, and that keeps it challenging. Sometimes I work on one big bathroom in a day, sometimes two toilets. That variety makes it fun." The work requires precision, but it is precisely that technical aspect that he finds interesting: "It just has to be right."
International colleagues, good atmosphere
At Wanders Chalet, he works in an international team, and he likes it very much. "I work mainly with Polish colleagues, and that goes really super well," he says enthusiastically. "We respect each other's work and there is always a nice atmosphere on the shop floor."
The differences in culture create conviviality rather than distance. "They listen to Polish music, I listen to Dutch. That just livens things up," he laughs. Even though he does not speak the language fluently, he knows a few words. "'Dzień dobry' ('good day') and some less decent words, you pick them up naturally," he says with a wink.

Real professionals wanted
What stands out at Wanders Chalet is the love of craftsmanship. In every corner of production you will find specialists, people who take pride in their work. "We think in terms of opportunities here," says Jan. "If you are eager to learn and want to make something with your hands, this is the place for you." Whether you have experience or just want to learn: at Wanders, you get the chance to grow.
