What are you going to do?
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire procurement process of challenging projects. You bring structure, insight and influence to projects where technology, strategy and sustainability come together. Your daily tasks include:
- Drafting and implementing strategic, project-based procurement plans, taking into account risks and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO);
- Procurement, outsourcing and contracting of products and services according to technical specifications and project planning;
- Assessing bids based on technical drawings and specifications;
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best conditions without compromising on quality or schedule;
- Building and maintaining a strong, professional (inter)national supplier network;
- Performing supplier assessments and performance analyses;
- Identify market developments and translate them into opportunities and improvements;
- Function as a direct impact-maker within high-tech customer projects, where your choices determine the success of the project;
- You work in a highly experienced and committed team, where knowledge sharing, cooperation and results are key.
Who are you?
You are analytical, decisive and have a keen insight into complex projects. In addition, you recognise yourself in:
- HBO working and thinking level, preferably supplemented by NEVI 1 and/or 2 or similar procurement training;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a technical or project-based environment;
- Strong negotiation skills, with a feel for long-term relationships;
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations within the procurement profession;
- Experienced in contract management and risk analysis;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both oral and written;
- Communicatively strong and a team player who knows how to achieve results
