What are you going to do?
We are looking for a planner/work planner who structures the dynamics of production. In this position, you are the link between departments and ensure that everything runs smoothly. In this versatile role, you combine planning, work preparation and process optimisation. You will ensure that client assignments and projects are carried out in a smart and efficient way.
Your duties :
- You determine the machining sequence and calculate the required times based on the production planning;
- You regularly consult with team leaders about the progress of orders and adjust the planning accordingly;
- You process all relevant information in the ERP system, create production orders and ensure the correct documents for coatings and shipments;
- You are the point of contact for sales, suppliers and customers when it comes to technical preparation and order processing;
- You record technical data in the ERP system: from drawings to machine settings and product specifications;
- You identify improvement opportunities in the production process and make proposals to increase efficiency and job satisfaction;
- You actively participate in internal projects such as improving work instructions, quality documentation and the use of PPE;
- You contribute to certifications such as REACH and KIWA and translate the wishes of the production department into concrete improvements in the ERP system.
Who are you?
You are a doer with technical insight and an overview. You move quickly, communicate clearly and keep a cool head when things get busy. And further:
- You have an intermediate vocational education level
- You have at least 3 years' experience as a work planner or team leader within a technical production company;
- You are stress-resistant and like variety in your work;
- You can set priorities and are solution-oriented;
- You have experience with ERP systems or you learn this quickly;
- You have a sense of humour and a positive attitude to work;
