What does a warehouse worker do?
As a warehouse assistant, you will perform a variety of tasks within the warehouse. What do you need to get started as a warehouse assistant?
As a warehouse worker, you need to be meticulous and physically fit. You have an eye for detail, work well together and like to get to work. It is a plus if you have experience with logistics processes or hold a forklift certificate, but it is not a requirement.
Desired skills and attributes:
- MBO work and thinking level
- Affinity with logistics or warehouse work
- Physically fit: you walk a lot, stand for long periods and lift regularly
- Accuracy and sense of responsibility
- Basic knowledge of Dutch language (for safety and communication)
- Experience with scanners or computer systems is a plus
- (Pre) Forklift or reach truck certificate
