What does a co-driver do?
As a co-driver, you will go out with a driver to deliver goods or products. You help load the truck and are responsible for unloading and delivering orders to customers or building sites. You will be physically active, work closely with your colleague and have regular contact with customers.

- Checking delivery notes or freight documents

Depending on the company, this may involve delivering furniture, white goods, building materials or foodstuffs.
Which sectors can you work in as a co-driver?

What do you need to get started as a co-driver?
The position of co-driver does not require any specific training, but you must know how to get to work. It is a physically active job in which you regularly lift heavy or large objects and are on the road a lot. You are customer-oriented, communicative and reliable.
Requirements and attributes:
- Minimum vmbo working and thinking level
- Physically in good shape (lifting, climbing stairs, duo lifting)
- Customer-oriented and representative attitude
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Flexibly deployable, possibly starting early or working on Saturdays
- Driving licence B is an advantage (for independent trips or back-up driving)
- Reliable, on-time and collegial
A background in logistics or transport is a bonus, but certainly not a must. Motivation and commitment are most important.
