What does a quality controller do?
As a quality controller, you are responsible for monitoring the quality of products or processes. You often do this using clear guidelines, measurement reports and specifications. The goal is simple: to ensure that everything meets the set standards. These can be internal requirements, but also external standards such as ISO certifications or customer requirements.
Your daily tasks may include:
- Performing quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Measuring, weighing or testing products using measuring equipment
- Spotting and reporting deviations
- Maintaining quality data in systems or reports
- Working together with colleagues from production, logistics or technical services to implement improvements

- Technical insight and experience with measuring equipment
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g. ISO, HACCP) is a plus
- Willingness to work in shifts (if applicable)
