What are you going to do?
In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of the logistics team (2 people) as well as for improving processes in a changing environment. We are currently on the eve of an important logistical step: integrating two warehouses into one efficient, centrally managed location. You will have the opportunity to be involved in this process from the beginning - and your ideas and experience will be of great value in this.
Your duties will include:
- Leading the logistics team;
- Coordinating inbound and outbound goods flows;
- Actively participate in the merging of two warehouses;
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements in processes and working methods;
- Optimising stock management and goods flows;
- Ensuring order, tidiness and safety on the shop floor;
- Working with ERP systems and contributing to correct logistics administration;
- Coordinating with production, planning and purchasing.
Who are you?
- MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or engineering;
- Experience in a managerial position is a plus;
- Strong affinity with process optimisation and change management;
- You are structured, solution-oriented and know how to take others along with you in improvements;
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage;
- In possession of a forklift certificate (or willing to obtain one).
