For one of our clients, we are looking for a (junior) operator who wants to work with a modern punching/laser machine. No experience yet? No problem. What are you going to do?
You will be trained as an operator of a punching/laser machine. This is a computer-controlled machine that processes metal sheets. You will learn step-by-step how to set up, adjust and operate the machine.
A working day looks something like this:
- Consultation with colleagues about planning
- Setting up the machine and getting everything ready
- Preparing and loading material
- Setting the right programme on the machine
- Quality control: is it cut/punched correctly?
- Solving minor malfunctions or passing them on to the technical department
- You will learn all this in practice, together with experienced colleagues who will guide you.
