Construction bench fitter MIG-MAG welder

As a Construction Mechanic/Welder, you will work on customised constructions used in the agricultural world. Examples are barn equipment, milking parlours, feeding installations, frames and fencing. You ensure that these products leave the workshop strong, neatly finished and ready for use.

Your work includes

• Assembling and welding steel structures according to drawings;

• MIG/MAG welding of various structural components;

• Machining, drilling, sawing and straightening materials;

• Checking dimensions and weld seams;

• Coordinating with colleagues in the assembly department for a perfect fit on site;

• Thinking along about practical improvements in the production process.

You are a professional who likes to work with your hands and has a feel for technology as well as the agricultural sector. In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• You have completed a technical education (towards metal, construction or mechanical engineering);

• You have experience with MIG/MAG welding;

• You can read technical drawings well;

• You are accurate, practical and think in terms of solutions;

• You have an affinity with agricultural engineering or perhaps come from the countryside yourself;

• You enjoy working in a committed, sociable team.

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing!
